East Kent Coaches provides a vital service with the UK Border Force and other partners to ensure migrants are transported safely from landing sites to the Manston Arrivals and Processing Centre, and that they remain under the care and supervision of the Border Force at all times.
We are a small team providing a vital public service. We support each other and work together to deliver the service to the best of our abilities. We run a flexible rota to ensure that we are able to respond when necessary, whilst also providing our team with generous rest periods between shifts.
We offer a regular monthly salary with competitive rates of pay, a stakeholder pension and free membership of the Transport Benevolent Fund. We are an equal opportunities employer and a Living Wage employers.
All our drivers are required to complete an enhanced DBS and Home Office security clearance, and hold a valid PCV driving licence and up to date CPC. If you do not have these but are still interested please do get in touch anyway, we may be able to offer you a training package.
